Can someone please help me ID this female Robin I found out at Broken Hill?
I've narrowed it down to either Hooded Robin (because of slender body shape and eye stripe) or Red-capped Robin (because of the slight red colouring on top of the beak).

I understand the dilemma as the greyish chest suggests Hooded. However, the wingbars are not very distinctive and as the tail feathers seem to be missing, I wonder if a Jacky Winter should be ruled out? I cannot see the reddish mark you mention. Sorry not much help so it would be best to wait for someone else to comment.

I'd say hooded, seems too dark for a Jacky Winter. Might be a young one because of the tail length??
