We have just returned from a nice trip to Point Nepean, a kind of sunny day, no birds, but a few rather good photos of “sand , beach and sky”.
But here is the story:
I was just talking to my friend on the phone, then it happened. I said to her: I have to go, O,O, o, there are two Bronzewings mating in front of my window. To that my friend yelled out, “ there is what, doing what???”
Me: two Bronzewings are mating in front of my window !!!! I have to go, will ring back later. It was all done by that time, and I said to my friend: too late……, we can talk, they are done.
To that my friend replied: You know M-L, I knew you were nuts, but tell me, “what were you talking about?”
Me: don’t worry, I can’t explain it.
Now, all of YOU, has that happened to YOU before? If yes, tell me about it.
Or any other strange and funny(?) thing![]()

Ha Ha, thats the trouble with you girls.........you talk to much
Me, i would drop the phone, take the pics, then pick the phone up and here "are you there" and then tell the story.

No - never happened to me; I do not make phone calls when I am birding and do not answer either - it is my time

Never happened quite like that, but I do bird watch over people's shoulders while they're talking. "I am listening to you, but there's a kookaburra over there that's also interesting." :)
