Birds in Brisbane Backyards Workshop - Sat 7th March

Birds in Backyards is going to be a part of the launch of 'Birds of Brisbane Backyards' on March the 7th. This is a project organised by Birds Australia Southern Queensland with a whole heap of partners, including Birds in Backyards.

I am flying up from Sydney to give part of the presentation and it would be great for there to be some current BIBY members there.

There are details on the Birds in Backyards home page (under events) - cost is $5 per adult - children welcome and free. Enquiries Phone 3117 9537 or Register at the website - (go to What's new).

Hi Holly
I wouls love to go down for that ( from Sunshine Coast) but I will be working unfortunately, as I am having this weekend off to go and see the turtles hatching at Mon Repos, with my daughter and some other Mums and kids. There is so much to introduce our children to, and she would have enjoyed it. She's becoming quite a little bird watcher around our house and like me is always listening for the different calls that alert us to who is out there. good luck with your launch
