Cockatoos in Sydney 2

Hi, I'm new to Sydney also - although, I've now been here about a year, observing the birdlife, particularly the cockatoos which I just love. I've spotted two birds in a local group which appear to have a disease - maybe beak and feather disease. I've been looking up pictures of immature fledglings, but they definately don't fit the picture. - these birds have no feathers on their heads, one I think has lost the feathers on it's chest, they appear slow to move and not vibrant in demeanor - and there is a damaged feather hanging off one of the birds.

What should I do? Is there someone to report it to? Does anyone treat wild birds - or do they need to be destroyed - or just let nature take it's course?

To quote BryanTan on a previous case of hits. "The cockatoos have the Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease (PBFD).
It is usually fatal disease that progresses similarly to AIDS in humans, and it can spread within wild birds.
You should contact your local wildlife rescue organisation immediately."
