Hi! Thank you everyone for your posts. Yes, my error they are more like the nightjar not an owl. I posted on Sunshine coast as that is closest to me. I am at gympie. I would not of thought we were one of the more arid areas. These frogmouths have been visiting us for the eight years we have been here. We rescued 2 babies that were attacked in a nest, and took them to Eumundi and they have been back ever since.
