Sorry guys, but I can't seem to upload the avator. I get to the "save" bit OK, and nothing appears by my name. Obviously I am doing something wrong. Am trying to load a photo from my pc. Any suggestions appreciated.

I just tried it and it worked for me I picked a photo from my screen saver file did you tick the use avator box.
don't give up.
Did tick the box. I don't have to resize or do anything like that do I?
Have logged in again from the start - may work.
No - the pic appears in the Avatar window and I click "save" but it doesn't get this far!!!
Not sure what you're doing wrong Lyn, I just changed mine with no problem.
Are you browsing from your computer pics and are they too big maybe? Don't know what the file size limit is.

Just noticed when I changed it again that it changes on previous posts as well.

Hi Lyn, I just changed mine using a jpeg photo from 'my pictures'. If it's any help...this is what I did: my profile-avator (make sure 'use gravator' is not ticked) browse-click on photo (don't open it first)-where it is located on your computer should now appear in the box-click save-make a cup of tea-come back and it should be done!! good luck.
oh, just a thought make sure it's not a tiff image but a jpeg.
