Does anyone know a good website to find guidelines for nest boxes. I was thinking about getting one for the resident Pale-headed Rosella.

Try the library, i borrowed one a few months back but cant remeber the name it had some great stuff in it about nesting boxes etc.

I just built one a few weeks ago for exactly that reason - I too have a resident Pale Headed Rosella. He (at least I think it's a he) hasn't taken up residence in the nest box yet, but he has investigated it, and seems to be hanging round a bit more in the last 6 weeks or so since I built it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, as I did do a little bit of research on it. If you click on search at the top of the page and type in "nest box" you will find other peoples' threads and ideas too.

Still no nesting rosellas in my box, but now have a local rosella, anyway.
