This afternoon Melbourne was pelted with huge hailstones and buckets of rain.
My back verandah has had lots of holes stabbed in it by the hailstones. As I type its now just started to lightly rain. All I can think about is the family of magpies that come to our house every day to eat the meat we feed them. I'm begging my parents to let me go out and see if there's any birds that need my help.
I'll see what happens
I hope there were no casualties. Good of you to care enough to want to help but you need to look after yourself first.
