Well we were in for a real treat today when a Wedge Tail Eagle came to investigate and sent all the Magpies and Parrots frantically away.
The only time I've seen an Eagle that close was at the Wildlife Sanctuary.
In the wild they are awesome.
Couldn't believe it would come into the backyard.
I've seen a few Sea Eagles around and close up but this sight was amazing
Good for you echidna. They are a special bird. We had a pair fly over our house a few weeks ago but if they had come down close i would have been as thrilled as you. Thanks for sharing.
