We used an old shower base for a pond but whatever you use make sure you can clean it regularly, they love to poo in the water and it get pretty gross pretty quickly. As for a house the most important thing is that it is secure and has a roof because they fly a lot better than chooks. Oh and make sure they have a big pen because they like room to move. Remember they make a LOT of mess and they will eat your garden plants if they get a chance.
