I have to vent my anger, Parks Victoria has put in a "bus turning circle" at the Grant's Picnic Ground ,in the Dandenongs, to cater for tourists, who come every morning, "to feed the birds" I find this absolutely appalling, does Parks Victoria now sacrifice the health of the native birds, mainly Parrots and Rosellas, to cater for busloads of tourists?? How educated are employees of PV ? Parks Vic has done many outrages things in my area, more releases of Koalas into the Bunyip Park 3 weeks ago, exactly where they are conducting a major burn next. (I call that stupid!) Only confirms my opinion of them!) Thanks for listening. Marie-Louise
Oh, just one more remark, how can we expect people in their backyards, not to feed the birds, if Parks Victoria (the experts??) do it??

Hey Marie-Louise, Grants picnic ground bird feeding has been going on for years we have driven past and seen bus loads of tourists. Unfortunately i dont think they will ever stop doing it, the cafe there sells bird seed and i assume its a way to keep their business going. People are going to feed birds no matter what.

i have been to this picnic ground and it it atrocious how they feed the birds so much.
it is cruel on them as they can become very unhealthy.
putting a bus circle in is brainless.
