I bought a blue and gold Macaw he is 4 years old... I've had him awhile he's so loud and messy. and needs more attention than I can give him it takes someone who is home all day for these birds IMO. I bought him for $450 with a big cage, but obviously I would like to get more for him and also for him to go to a home that is safe and people who will give him more attention. is $1,000 out of the question? And one more question, I want to buy a cocktail parrot, read here

Hi there Dikeyr. If you're able to sell your macaw to someone who can can care for it could I suggest you donate the proceeds to an environmental group that is working to protect the macaw's habitat.
