Pheasent Coucal

I live in The Gap in Brisbane and this morning I heard a young bird calling out waiting to be fed. It was a young Pheasent Coucal and the bird feeding it was a Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike, this didn't appear strange until I looked for info on the net and it says that they are raised by their parents.

Does anybody have any comments?
