Is there such a thing as a fully white headed treecreeper? I have only the one sightng (southeast Queensland, rural/urban) but were I on the Atherton Tableland, I would not hesitate to call it a treecreeper for the actions were identical. However, it could have been another small insectivore with which I am not familiar. I can find nothing similar in any of my books but that is par for the course these days. It is possible that it was a white throated treecreeper that got carried away with the decorating but the head was fully white at least to the nape and the rest of the body a nondescript grey/brown.

White headed Treecreeper
Hi David
Have a look at the Sittellas. Maybe one of these?
