Little Corella- pink undertones

Over the last few months I have been watching, at a distance, two pairs of Little Corella at and around their hollow. I have noticed a difference between the pairs. One pair has a bird with pink undertone around the neck, somewhat reminiscent of the red/orange neck of the Long-billed Corella, and the other pair does not.

What do you think? Is the pink undertones usual for Little Corella?

It is relatively common. I don't know what causes it, maybe dust?

I understand individuals in the race gymnopis have some pink colouring between the bill & eye & some pink on the throat. This pink colouring is most noticeable in the race westralensis in central-west WA. The northern Australian race sanguinea lacks this colouring.
