About a week ago I saw the first sign of breeding this year when a Little Raven carried a stick into a group of Monterey Pines Pinus radiata at my place. Since then I've seen similar a number of times.
It's usually about July when Little Ravens begin nest building at my place on the s.e. slopes of the Mt Lofty Ranges in SA. I'm wondering if our wet April & May have prompted this reproductive exuberance. Surely not everything is due to global heating!
