Dusky woodswallow at bird bath

This afternoon I saw for the first time a dusky woodswallow drinking from our bird bath. Oh, happy day!

They are great little birds so I can see why you are excited to have them around. Maybe it will bring friends along next time.

Cheers, Owen.

Yes, Owen, it might have been testing the water, so to speak.

A hot day today drew this juvenile dusky woodswallow in for a thirst quencher.

Photobucket hasn't quite got my size in stock.

Woko, when you view your images in photobucket albums they appear as thumbnails and there are a number of option below each photo; choose "edit" which takes you to another page; then "resize" which gives you more size options; where it says "new size" the figures shown are the current sizes which you can change to whatever you like - just make certain the "Keep proportions" box is ticked. Now photobucket can have your size anytime.

Note: When I make any changes to a photo like this I always "save a copy" - I never replace my original.

Thanks so much qyn. I'm just getting the hang of resize compared with crop. Resize looks like the way to go, I think.

You can always do both, Woko .... there will be no holding you back then!! Cheers
