Is this a common behaviour for red-rumped parrots?
I watched a male feeding his partner and caught it on camera.
Assuming that is indeed a female and not a juvenile?

I have never seen red-rumps do it - but I rarely observe red-rumps except for my own hand-reared girl at home. I have seen it in other parrots though. I assume it is a way of strengthening the pair-bond.
