We have a Sulphur Crest who visits now and again (see previous post) - today it arrived with a new friend - a Little Corella. They stayed for a feed then flew off together :-)

gphe.... if you can find an old posting of birdgirl2009 she has had corellas and pink and greys breeding in her backyard. I will see if I can find the link for you or ask her to repost

birdie,
Thank you - interesting to hear there are natural hybrids. Our seemed to be only a fleeting friendship as the Sulphur has been back without the Corella.
We also had a Rainbow arrive with a Scaley Breast for a couple of days - had never seen Scaley Breasts in our area before - or since.
Pouring down with rain today - the only bird with any sense seem to be the Butcher Birds who have taken up residence under the patio out of the rain, and with nothing else todo have been singing all morning - delightful on such a dreary day.
Poor magpies whose 2 babies left the nest on Friday are frantically searching for food in the rain.
Cheers,
Geoff
