White-throated Treecreeper

The rain stopped for 5 minutes, so I took the camera, and....? Noticed this one, it did have a rather strange colour to start with, much lighter than the other treecreepers I see all the time. When I look at them now, they have this "blue tinge", is that some kind of reflection? Any logical explanation?

DSC00643 (1) DSC00641 (1) I'm trying to work out how to use a camera, as you can tell, LOL, be nice to me, thanks.

Lovely shots M-L. I think they normally have some of that blue-grey  colour.

Cheers, Owen.

How to use your camera, you should tell us maybe. The blue tinge could have something to with the cloudy conditions you were experiencing at the time as it tends to saturate the colours more and the absense of reflected light on the feathers probably gives the grey a richer look and grey to me sometimes can have a bluish tinge, I like them as they are.

That's a male, by the way, Araminta. The female has an orange spot on the white area behind & below the eye.
