Australia is the driest inhabited continent on earth, with the least amount of water in rivers, the lowest run-off and the smallest area of permanent wetlands of all the continents. You wouldn't think so to-day though!
This adult Red-Browed Finch was keen to avoid me seeing where it wanted to go. Little did it know I already knew it had a nest nearby and that it was regularly stopping off here to make sure it was all clear before going to the nest
Double Barred Finch looking a bit soggy.
Even in the rain the bird bath attracts birds.
We even had a family of four King Parrots take a spell on our verandah for 1/2 an hour to get out of the rain!
Lovely, bad weather can't stop us!

How can you take such great photos on such a bad day?!?
The first photo and last photo are my favourites with the bright red in them...and the Double Barred is adorable too.

Great photos Reflex! That kookabarra is so wet!! Were you under a cover to take the photos or do you have a cover/waterproof camera? I love how clear all your shots are even though it's raining.
Thanks for sharing!
